Overwatch Rule34 : The Most Watched Heroes and Artists
Since 2016, Overwatch has been the game with the largest rule34 animation scene, and it is still the most watched game on SoloQ with more than 28,000 videos. Overwatch 2 only added new heroes to the list.
The heroes fans watch the most
- D.Va : the pilot of MEKA is by far the most animated hero, in every style from 2D to Blender.
- Widowmaker : the French sniper is a favorite of the 3D animators.
- Mercy : the support hero has a huge amount of cinematic animations.
- Tracer : the face of the game, and one of the first heroes ever animated.
- Kiriko, Juno, Sombra, Ashe, Brigitte : the newer heroes climb quickly with every season.
Why Overwatch works so well in rule34
Blizzard released its 3D models and a cinematic universe early, and the community of Source Filmmaker and Blender animators adopted them right away. The result is a large catalog of high quality, often voiced, animations : the heroes are recognizable, and every new skin or event brings a new wave of videos.
Watching on SoloQ
SoloQ shows the videos in a vertical feed, with the artist and the characters of each video. A few tips :
- Open the Overwatch page and tap Watch in the feed.
- Like the videos you enjoy : the feed then favors those heroes and animators.
- Tap a hero chip under a video to switch to that hero only.
- Not your thing ? The Not interested button in the ⋯ menu removes similar videos.
Duplicates and reposts are grouped together, so the same animation never comes back twice in a row, and the best versions come first.
